On the way down I had Anthony stop at one of my favorite islands, I picked up the River2Seausa Whopper Plopper in the Blue Blood color. We launched at B&W Resort came out turned right and headed towards Frank’s Tract. Lucky for me I was right and all the preparations led to a very fun and successful day on the Delta.

I made sure to hydrate take all my meds and get some sleep I figured this would give the best chance to fish for the day or 6 hours anyways. Let me tell you I was extremely nervous and almost told him no, I decided to take a chance and see what happened. Return the way you came, or climb up through the campgrounds and back to Hwy 20 on Scott's Flat Road. This Delta trip all started with an invite from my friend Anthony Souza, this would be my first major venture away from the house since my injury. When you get to the dam, that's the end of the line. The lakeside section on Scott's Flat lake is a perfect finish to the sweet downhill, it meanders along the shoreline with some exposure and several places to hop in for a swim, or just catch some rays. If you like brutal climbs try Casci road back up instead. This trail is great down and not a bad climb either, far more enjoyable than going up Scott's Flat Road. This smooth trail is packed down, but gets a bit chewed up after summer from all the traffic.Ī perfect finish to a long Pioneer ride, it can be ridden as an out-and-back or looped. It has twisty banked g-outs, tabletop kickers, log and rock ride options, and such perfect flow it's unreal!! Very few tech sections, and not much cliff hugging. This is a true masterpiece of trail engineering. This trail was newly built and completed in 2013 as a joint project with the FTA and BONC.
